70s food

I bought a recipe book today. It's called Vegetable Cookery, by Nika Hazelton, and was published in 1979. Most recipe books from the 70s look like they were written by someone who'd never cooked before in their life, and this one is no exception. My favourite recipes in it are cabbage stuffed with mushroom, peanut soup, Kohlrabi Improved (don't ask), Green Beans with Cheese, Sauteed cucumbers, and Lettuce Custard. If I ever make any of these dishes I'll give some feedback.
