Black magic

I think about black magic a lot at the moment. I have a Maori (?) wooden statue (?) with mother of pearl eyes that my friend gave me. I think it's a fertility symbol. It's hand carved in Aeteroa. Very occasionally it really scares me but mostly I find it comforting. It may not even be black magic. I don't know.
