Dear diary

The house is quiet as everyone has gone to London for the day. I felt that there was too much to do here so stayed behind - in fact I had little interest in going as it was to visit museums which I prefer to do alone. We had storms last night, I confidently predicted that they would last until Monday but was wrong. There is a vast amount that needs doing here but I have little appetite for doing it. The women's movement have a very great deal going for them. I am going for tea with some friends later.
