Perspectives

I went round my dad's today and while I was there I did a bit of gardening. Longtime readers of my blog (if there are any) will remember that when I was living there in 2008-9 I did a fair amount of gardening. I've always had a perspective on that time of my life as being dead space, a waste of time. Anyway, while I was gardening today I realised that I was busy and happy and productive then, laying foundations for the next few years. I don't think that's a waste of time at all. I like looking after people.
