O frabjous day

My landlord told me that he's not putting my rent up this year, I think as a reflection of the large amount of cleaning I do compared to other people in the house.   Whatever.  All good news.  In other finance related stuff, I've started cooking on Sunday for the rest of the week, gives me something to do at the weekend and saves me from the weekday evening can't be bothered to cook blues.  Today I'm making stewed apple for my morning porridge, puttanesca sauce for pasta plus carrot soup.  Nice.  Would  be good if the freezer wasn't full of ice so I could freeze stuff, but you can't have everything.
