So good

I went round my mum's for dinner, she made gong bao chicken with peanuts from a Sichuan recipe book that I gave her.  It was so amazing.  She's a really good chinese cook, she has the patience and the obsessiveness to prepare everything just so and then cook it quickly.  I thought a bit about the time that we missed out on, when I went to live with my Dad after they finally separated.  We won't get that time back.
