Gilles Peterson

I've never really got Gilles Peterson but always loved him just the same. When I was a student in London me and my friend used to go to his night Movement, I think it was on a Monday or a Tuesday, at some club in London on Shaftesbury Avenue. We only ever used to drink a couple of beers and then shuffle around a generally quite empty dancefloor to jazz, and then go home early because my friend had an early lecture the next day. I guess it used to get busy later on when people left the pubs and restaurants in Shoho. Or maybe it was never that busy and other people's appetite for jazzy house was as limited as mine is.
